Tata Sons, Tata Consulting, Lulu International, Apparel Group, Titan Company, EaseMyTrip, Reliance Retail and PVR Group have signed MoUs with Emaar to create 13, 500 jobs in the Valley.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday laid the foundation stone of Mall of Srinagar, which is going to be the biggest mall of the region.
The first international mall in Jammu and Kashmir will be operational by 2026 and will create around 13,500 jobs. In addition, the mall will have over 500 shops.
The construction of the mall began on Sunday at Sempora in Pampore with the foundation stone being laid by Manoj Sinha.
The project will also provide a world-class experience to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir and become a major attraction for thousands of tourists visiting Srinagar from all over India, it said in a statement.
Manoj Sinha said, “The Mall of Srinagar and associated projects with the Government of Dubai will boost the economic development of Jammu and Kashmir and allow us to achieve our shared vision of strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties between the UAE and India.” Will bring you closer.”

In January 2022, the government of Jammu and Kashmir entered into a bilateral agreement with various stakeholders and the government of the United Arab Emirates to deliver projects worth over a billion dollars in the valley.
These projects include the development of an industrial park, a medical college, a specialty hospital, logistics hub, IT towers and multi-purpose towers by Emaar, besides a mall in Srinagar.
Tata Sons, Tata Consulting, Lulu International, Apparel Group, Titan Company, EaseMyTrip, Reliance Retail and PVR Group have signed MoUs with Emaar for Mall of Srinagar to create 13,500 jobs in the Valley, the statement said. .
The mega-mall is the first significant FDI investment in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, facilitating investment in marquee projects in accordance with the MoU signed between the governments of the United Arab Emirates and India.
