On the same day, NDLESA officers intercepted 576 pills of tramadol, a total of 100 pills, hidden in rubber slipper bags at the trailer garage in the area of Gom Began State. The suspect, Tunde Ogunbowale, who presented the goods to Dubai, was immediately arrested. Attempts to export 2.7kg of cannabis (packaged as part of dried onions) to Dubai via a postal service were thwarted by NDLEA officials affiliated with the courier, who confiscated a carton full of colorful bags of dried onions , used to hide illegal shipments.
Suleiman Oyedokun, a bus driver traveling from Onitsha, Anambra State, bound for Contagora, Niger State, along the Okne-Abuja highway in Kogi State on March 13 530,160 tramadol tablets and 99,000 diazepam tablets were seized.

In Kaduna, 367kg of cannabis was recovered from a vehicle with registration number FKJ141DX. Two suspects: Suleiman and Sama’ila Mohammed were arrested on Monday while a bribe of 1.2 million naira offered to NDLEA officials was recorded as part of the evidence against the suspects.
Delta agents also arrested Ebi Akpotudua, a local female distiller of marijuana and dry gin on March 15, who will produce a cocktail drink commonly known as monkey tail. She was arrested in Ugboroke by river road, Warri, with 19.5 liters of monkey tail and 22.2 kilograms of cannabis.
